Assaying Quality
1. The company (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) carries out their business operations through their website (www.buygold.muthoot.com) (referred to as “Platform”).
2. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before availing the services using the Platform. By using the Platform or availing any of the Company’s services, the Customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, along with other policies that are available in the Platform.
3. The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms anytime without giving prior notice.
4. A customer can select and purchase BIS Hallmarked 916/999 purity Gold / BIS Hallmarked 925/999 purity Silver jewellery/coins (Product) from the Platform by paying its Price displayed therein by the Company, updated on real time basis.
5. The Company may request additional information or documents from the customer for identification of customer, order verification and processing.
6. The Company may cancel any order, partially or completely, at its sole discretion due to reasons including product unavailability, pricing or product information errors, incorrect customer details, suspected fraudulent transactions, or operational constraints.
7. Customers may cancel an order without any charges only before the product is dispatched from the warehouse and not afterwards.
8. Once the order is dispatched, cancellation requests shall not be accepted and such orders shall be governed under the Return/Replacement Policy.
9. Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment within 7 working days from approval of the cancellation request.
10. Orders placed using gift cards or vouchers shall be refunded/reactivated to the same gift card or voucher account upon successful cancellation.
11. All cancellation requests are subject to approval by the Company.
12. If the customer is unavailable at the delivery address, the logistics partner will attempt delivery up to three (3) times. Thereafter, the order will be treated as Return to Origin (RTO) and returned to the Company.
13. Any complaint regarding damage, defect, incorrect product, or quality issue must be reported within 2 days from the date of delivery by emailing at info@muthootexim.com along with supporting images/videos.
14. Products approved for replacement must be returned in original packaging along with invoice, certificates, tags, and accessories.
15. Replacement requests are subject to successful quality inspection and verification by the Company.
16. Replacement products, if approved, will be dispatched within 15 working days from the date of product pickup, subject to availability.
17. As per the current guidelines mandated by the Government of India, a customer has to provide the Permanent Account Number (PAN) for a single/cumulative purchase above INR 2 lakh.
18. The Company shall not be liable for delays caused due to delay from the side of vendor, logistics delays, or Force Majeure events beyond reasonable control.
19. In case of delays not caused by Force Majeure events, the customer may cancel the order and claim a refund as per the applicable policy.
20. The Company reserves the right to reject any cancellation, refund, return, or replacement request in cases involving misuse, tampering, missing components, counterfeit products, or policy violations.
21. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai.
Promotional offers, if any, shall be valid only on selected designs and during the specified period.
Discount values and the eligible designs are subject to change without prior notice.
Applicability of existing offers in conjunction with other vouchers is at the sole discretion of Muthoot Exim Private Limited.
The pricing of products is calculated using current market prices of precious metal and lab grown diamonds to give the customer the best possible value. These prices do change from time to time, owing to the dynamic nature of prices of precious metal and lab grown diamonds prices in the market.
Therefore prices on buygold.muthoot.com are subject to change without prior notice. The prices of MEPL merchandise shall be dynamic and the customer can buy the same on the price listed on the day of purchase.
The Company as a merchant shall be under no liability whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly out of the decline of authorization for any Transaction, on Account of the Cardholder having exceeded the preset limit mutually agreed by us with our acquiring bank from time to time.
If there is a conflict or contradiction between the provisions contained herein and any specific terms and conditions, policies or notices, the specific terms and conditions, policies or notices which relate specifically to the particular section or module of the website shall prevail.
Any provision of any relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices, which is or becomes unenforceable in any jurisdiction, whether due to being void, invalidity, illegality, unlawfulness or for any reason whatever, shall, in such jurisdiction only and only to the extent that it is so unenforceable, be treated as void and the remaining provisions of any relevant terms and conditions, policies and notices shall remain in full force and effect.
The winners of contests and giveaways will be selected by the Company and is not challengeable..
The prizes/ gifts/ giveaways are non-returnable/ exchangeable.
Any additional facilities provided by the Company to winners and selectees of any contest is at the company's discretion
The Company reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of contests/ giveaways without prior intimation.
All free gifts are treated as discounts.
In Case of Partial Cancellation or Returns, of Orders with a Free gift, the Amount refunded will not include the discount attributed to the Free Gift.

Customer can redeem Gift Card(s) on www.buygold.muthoot.com
Gift Card(s) bought from www.buygold.muthoot.com can be redeemed on all jewellery, and all coins available on the Platform.
The Company’s Gift Card(s) bought from other platforms can be used on specific categories only. Please check the type of Gift Card before confirming the type of jewellery or coin that can be bought using it.
On the Cart page, click on the link "I have a voucher code/gift card" and enter your 16-digit Gift Card number and pin for redemption.
Multiple Gift Card(s) can be used in a single transaction. Customer may combine Gift Card(s) with any other payment type.
Gift Card(s) cannot be partially redeemed
Gift Card(s) are valid for a period of 6 months from the date of issuance to the recipient.
Gift Card(s) cannot be used to purchase another Gift Card.
Payment mode will be Net Banking, Credit/Debit Card, UPI.
Gift Card(s), once bought online, shall be considered as sold and cannot be Cancelled, Exchanged or Refunded.
If lost or misused, the Gift Card(s) cannot be replaced. Gift Card(s) are void if resold, cannot be exchanged for credit(s) or cash, and cannot be re-validated once expired.
In addition to these Terms and Conditions, Company’s Gift Card(s) and their use on our website are also subject to Company’s general Terms of Use & Company’s decision will be final in case of any dispute.
Company may change (add, delete, or amend) these terms from time to time. Unless stated otherwise, the changes will apply to any new gift card. Any Gift Card(s) you purchase are for personal, non-commercial use and enjoyment only. The same may be shared with family and friends but may not be advertised, sold or used as promotional items by the purchaser or anyone else without MEPL’s prior written consent.
At Muthoot Exim, we aim to maintain a fair, safe and enjoyable shopping experience for all customers. To do this, we have a policy that prohibits certain types of misuse of our services. The policy prohibits behaviours such as excessively ordering or returning products beyond normal personal or household use, frequently cancelling or returning items on the false grounds, serial returning, using services for commercial purposes, engaging in fraud (including fake or altered returns), exploiting promotions or referral programmes, coupons, cashbacks, or any limited-time offers, creating multiple /proxies accounts to bypass limit or extract extra benefits and behaving abusively, threateningly, or unethically towards our staff, delivery partners, or vendors . Examples include repeatedly ordering multiple versions of the same high-value item with the intent to return most of them, attempting to manipulate refunds, non-cooperation with return or pickup processes (including repeated non-availability for scheduled pickup attempts), or using our services for resale or rental.
This policy does not prevent you from exercising your legal rights under Indian law or your rights under Muthoot Exim’s own terms and policies. You can still return or exchange defective, damaged, or incorrect items in line with our Returns Policy and reasonably use services for genuine personal use.
We may assess non-compliance with this policy by analysing patterns in your account activity, including order volume and value, your history and reasons for returns, exchanges and cancellations, and any attempts to bypass our limits or policies. We reserve the right to take appropriate action if you do not comply with this policy, including issuing warnings, restricting access to certain features (such as promotions or easy returns), refusing orders or returns, cancelling pending orders, closing accounts, and, in serious cases (such as suspected fraud), reporting matters to law enforcement or pursuing legal action.
